How Do I Get Connected?

If there is something about Wesley AME Church that “feels” right for where you find yourself in your spiritual journey and you’d like to know more, getting connected is as easy as the “two step…”

Step One

Join us for New Members Class with Pastor Griffin for four consecutive weeks on Sunday's at 9:15 am in his office, an informal Sunday morning meeting with members of the Pastoral Team and Elders. This is the best place to really get to know us. These classes are designed for you to become more familiar with the church structure of the AME Church in general and to learn more specifically about Wesley AME Church. You will learn what is expected of you as a member as well as how we can help you grow spiritually and become involved in the church ministries. Upon completion of the sessions you will be presented a formal "Certificate of Membership" by Pastor Griffin on a designated Sunday morning service.

Step Two

After New Members Class, if you would like to begin moving toward making Wesley AME Church your church home, take the second step by joining a ministry and attending Bible Study on Wednesdays at 12 Noon and 6:30 pm.

Bible Study meets on Wednesday evenings and is focused on us getting to know each other in order to best serve and encourage one another in our journey of faith.

Upon completion of New Members Class, you become a member of Wesley AME Church by making a covenant commitment to embrace the vision and core values, and be actively supportive of and engaged in the ministries of the church.
